Principal Investigator

Khatidja Chantler (PhD) is Professor of Gender, Equalities and Communities at Manchester Metropolitan University. She is Co-director for the Global Perspectives, Marginalisation and Thriving Communities research cluster. Her areas of research expertise are gender-based violence, self-harm, gender and ethnicity. She is also an internationally known expert on forced marriage research. Currently, she is working on several national and international research projects on gender-based violence and domestic abuse/homicide. She has published widely in national and international journals and is author of several book chapters and co-editor of three books.

HALT Collaborators
